A migration card is a document that is issued to a foreign citizen upon entering the territory of Russia at the border control point.
The migration card must be kept during the entire period of your stay in the Russia. When you will leave Russia, you are obliged to hand over a migration card at the border control point.
Within 3 days you must apply to the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at the place of your stay to obtain a duplicate of the migration card (free of charge).
RVP allows a foreigner to live and work in Russia for 3 years. It is impossible to renew the RVP, you can only get a new one. After the expiration of the 3-year period, you must obtain a residence permit, citizenship, or a new RVP.
Yes it is possible. In this case, a foreign citizen who marries a citizen of Russia has the right to receive a RVP without quotas, as well as the right to obtain Russian citizenship through a simplified procedure.
To obtain the status of a highly qualified specialist, the amount of income (salary) of a foreign citizen in Russia must be at least 2 million rubles per year (167 000 rubles per month).
A work permit is issued for the duration of the employment contract, but not more than 3 years. Further, it can be renewed an unlimited number of times, each time for the duration of the contract, but at the same time for no more than 3 years for each renewal.
